The Flownex API allows users to automate network creation, simulation execution, and result extraction using Python. By combining the API with libraries such as PythonNet, Pandas, and NumPy, large and complex systems can be generated directly from external data sources like CSV files, significantly reducing manual modelling effort and human error. The webinar demonstrates how to add and link components, set inputs, run simulations, and retrieve results programmatically through the Network Builder, Property Interface, and Simulation Control classes. It also shows how the API can be used to create highly flexible parametric studies where both component inputs and network configurations can change automatically between cases. This approach is especially valuable for large-scale models and design studies that would be tedious or impractical to build manually.
