Question
When multiple versions of Flownex are installed on the same computer, how can a user select which version should be used by default when opening Flownex project files?
Answer
It is possible to specify the default Flownex version used to open project files when multiple versions are installed. To do this, navigate to the installation folder of the Flownex version that should become the default version. Locate the registerfiletypes.bat file, right-click on it, and select Run as Administrator.
Running this file updates the file associations so that Flownex project files are opened automatically using the selected version. This is particularly useful when working with multiple Flownex releases and wanting to ensure that projects always open in a specific version of the software.
