Is there an example Flownex network available for modeling a magnetic refrigeration cycle, such as an Active Magnetic Regenerator (AMR) system? The objective is to model magnetic entropy changes and thermodynamic behavior similar to the temperature-entropy (T-S) diagrams presented in academic literature on magnetic refrigeration.
Currently, there are no standard Flownex example networks available specifically for a Magnetic Refrigeration Cycle or Active Magnetic Regenerator (AMR) system.
However, a Cryocooler example network is available and has been identified as a suitable starting point for developing an AMR-type model. The intention is to adapt and rework the Cryocooler example so that it can represent the operating principles of a magnetic refrigeration cycle, including the thermodynamic processes associated with magnetic entropy changes.
While this development work is being investigated, users interested in magnetic refrigeration can consider the Cryocooler example as the closest available reference. The adapted model may provide a foundation for studying the magnetic refrigeration cycle and reproducing the thermodynamic behavior illustrated in published research, including T-S diagram representations.
Progress updates on the development of such an example network will be provided as they become available.
