Question
Why does Flownex display an error such as "Can not find unit: ,0" when entering a value with a decimal point? How can this issue be resolved so that decimal values can be entered correctly?
Answer
This issue is typically caused by the regional settings configured in Windows. Flownex interprets numerical inputs according to the decimal symbol defined by the operating system. If Windows is configured to use a comma (,) as the decimal symbol, Flownex will expect decimal values to be entered using a comma rather than a decimal point. When a decimal point is entered instead, Flownex may interpret it as text and attempt to identify it as a unit, resulting in an error such as "Can not find unit: ,0".
To resolve this issue, update the Windows regional settings so that the Decimal symbol is set to a decimal point (.). This setting can be found under:
Windows → Control Panel → Clock and Region → Change date, time, or number formats → Additional settings
After changing the decimal symbol to a decimal point, Flownex will correctly recognize decimal values entered using the decimal point key on the keyboard.
