This video highlights how Flownex can simulate thermal ride-through events in data center cooling systems, allowing engineers to evaluate system performance during power outages and recovery phases before implementation. Two scenarios with different air-to-liquid cooling ratios were analyzed to assess whether critical temperatures remain within design limits under worst-case conditions. The simulations capture detailed thermal and hydraulic behavior of cooling equipment, including the effects of thermal inertia, buffer tank depletion, and control system responses. Results show how different cooling architectures respond to transient events while maintaining compliance with operational requirements and SLAs. Overall, Flownex enables engineers to validate cooling system reliability, control strategies, and buffer capacity under critical transient conditions.
