This feature allows users to digitize graph data directly from images within Flownex, eliminating the need for external digitizing software and simplifying the process of importing chart data. The demonstration uses a turbocharger compressor map, where users load an image, define the graph axes, and select data points directly on the chart to generate usable performance data. The digitizer provides tools to add, move, insert, delete, and edit points, making it easy to refine the imported dataset. An override Y-value option enables digitization of curves that use different scales, such as efficiency contours, by allowing users to manually specify Y-values while extracting X-values from the image. Additionally, the source image is saved with the Flownex project, improving traceability, documentation, and the sharing of digitized chart data between projects.
