This feature introduces steady-state-only boundary conditions in Flownex, simplifying the setup of simulations that require different boundary conditions for steady-state and transient analyses. By enabling the steady-state-only option on a boundary condition, users can automatically deactivate it during transient simulations without creating additional action setups. This is particularly useful for closed-loop systems, such as Rankine cycles, where pressures and fluid properties must be specified to establish initial steady-state conditions but should be calculated dynamically during transient operation. Steady-state-only boundary conditions are easily identified by an “S” indicator, making model configuration and troubleshooting more straightforward. By reducing setup complexity and improving workflow efficiency, this enhancement makes transitioning between steady-state and transient simulations faster and more intuitive.
