This video introduces the Flownex Network Builder, a new feature that enables direct export of complex data center piping networks from Autodesk Revit into Flownex. Designed for applications such as hydraulic studies, pump sizing, short-break analysis, and cooling system design, the tool can reduce network setup time by up to 80% while minimizing errors associated with manually redrawing piping systems. Users can filter Revit models, map components to Flownex equivalents, transfer component properties, apply naming conventions, and automatically repair common connectivity issues before export. The Network Builder generates reports highlighting planned modifications, repairs, and unresolved issues, ensuring users can validate the model before building the network. Once imported, the piping network can be combined with cooling equipment such as chillers, pumps, fan walls, and dry air coolers to rapidly simulate complete data center cooling systems within Flownex.
