Flownex's mixture capabilities allow users to create complex fluid mixtures consisting of multiple liquids and gases, enabling more realistic modelling of industrial processes. Unlike earlier versions that were limited to a single liquid and gas combination, the mixture-of-mixtures feature tracks the mass and mole fractions of all constituent fluids throughout the network while applying the conservation equations. The software also supports two-phase fluid and gas mixtures, allowing a two-phase fluid to be combined with multiple gases in a single model. Users can create and manage these mixtures through the project database, then assign them to components and define the composition of each fluid stream. This functionality provides engineers with greater insight into fluid composition changes across a system and improves the accuracy of multiphase and mixed-fluid simulations.
